Lindsay Montemarano, Seaford --&nbsp;Nassau Player of the Week:&nbsp;Where to begin? The week started with Montemarano going 2-for-2 with an RBI and earning the win in an 8-5 victory over preseason favorite Island Trees. Things only got better from there.&nbsp; In an 11-7 win over Glen Cove, she went 5-for-5 with six RBIs, including a key three-run home run in the seventh inning…oh, and she also hit for the cycle. But still, her week wasn't finished. &nbsp;In a 5-0 win over Clarke, she went 3-for-3 with an RBI….oh, and she also tossed a no-hitter with eight strikeouts. So if you’re keeping track at home, she led Seaford to a 3-0 record, went 10-for-10 at the plate with eight RBIs for the week, hit for the cycle, and tossed a no-no. If that doesn’t earn her Nassau player of the week, I don’t know what will. 
 Dana Taglioni, Eastport-South Manor -- Suffolk Player of the Week:&nbsp;The Sharks’ shortstop delivered in each of her team’s wins: she went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs vs. Kings Park on April 15; she went 2-for-4, with a triple and an RBI vs. East Hampton on April 17; and she went 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBI vs. Glenn on April 18. Add it all up and she hit .800 for the week with seven RBIs. 
 Sofia Evangelista, St. John the Baptist: The junior pitcher became the first CHSAA pitcher in almost three years to defeat Kellenberg, allowing one run and three hits with six strikeouts in a 2-1 win. Oh yea, she also struck out the final batter of the game with the bases loaded. 
 Stefanie Aplin, Smithtown East: &nbsp;The Bulls’ catcher leads off and not only delivers at the plate, but gets its done behind it too. “She blocks everything,” Smithtown East coach Glenn Roper said. “A blocking machine who is stellar behind the plate. Teams don’t run on her.” In the Bulls’ 16-0 home win over Copiague on April 16, Aplin went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs. She then went 1-for-3, with a BB in Smithtown East’s 6-1 road loss to West Babylon on April 17, but kept the game close early when she picked off two base runners, one in the fourth and one in the fifth, with the score tied at one. In the Bulls’ 5-2 home win over Hauppauge on April 18, Aplin went 2-for-2, with two intentional walks and an RBI. 
 Tonimarie Valeriano, Mepham:&nbsp;Or as one of those creative headline writers called her earlier this week, “Valeriano-no.” She tossed a no-hitter in Conference AA-I, Nassau’s top ability based conference, allowing two walks with 12 strikeouts in a 2-0 win over Long Beach. 
 Stephanie Kirgan, Lindenhurst: The senior tossed a five-inning perfect game in a 12-0 win over Brentwood. She also hit a three-run homer, her first long ball of the season. 
 Lauren Peterson, Bayport-Blue Point: Had the extremely rare accomplishment of hitting three triples in a single game.&nbsp; Finished 4-for-6 with five RBIs in a 14-2 win over Port Jeff. 
 Lindsay Presman, Harborfields: Tossed a five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts in an 18-0 win over Comsewogue. 
 Jessica Deptulski, East Rockaway: You can earn an automatic ticket onto players of the week with a five-hit day, and that’s exactly what Deptulski did. She finished 5-for-6 with four RBIs and three runs scored in an 18-2 win over Manhasset. 
 Sammi Kenny, Hewlett: Walk-off of the week. Kenny sent everyone home with a walk-off grand slam as Hewlett overcame a four-run deficit in the seventh inning to win 16-14. 
 Liz Jacobsohn, Syosset: In her last four games, the senior has gone 10-for-14 with four RBIs and four stolen bases.&nbsp; She helped Syosset to a 3-0 week, setting the stage for their potential first-place showdown with Bellmore JFK on Thursday. 
 Liz Rohme and Sierra Cardenales, Patchogue-Medford:&nbsp;…and all of the other Pat-Med girls that helped stage the rally of the week. Trailing 2-0 to Commack with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Cardenales singled home Cait Burgbacher to knot things up at two and Rohme followed with a walk-off single, scoring Samantha Van Dorn for the come-from-behind victory to hand one of Suffolk’s best teams its only loss of the season. Don’t forget about Kim Fazio, who tossed four shutout innings in relief to keep Pat-Med close and set the stage for the rally.&nbsp;
