Sorrentino's perfect game sets pace for East Islip
Freshman Lena Sorrentino rolled a 300 in Game 2 of a 756 series for East Islip in a 1,037-612, 1,164-553, 1,069-629 win over West Islip Monday in Suffolk League I girls bowling. Sorrentino rolled a 232 in Game 1 and a 224 in Game 3. She also had a perfect game Dec. 10 against Islip.
Also for East Islip, Nancy Baione had a 236 in Game 1 of a 704 series and Nikki Wilson had a 223 in Game 2 of a 639 series. Rebecca Sonkin added a 226 in her only game for EI. Colleen Hinrichs rolled a high of 220 in Game 2 of a 603 series for Islip in a 862-720, 945-734, 776-768 win in League.
