Southampton boy allowed to play field hockey again
An East End boy has been granted permission to be back on the girls field hockey team.
As News 12 Long Island has reported, Keeling Pilaro, 14, of Southampton, was told he could no longer play on the girls team because he was "too skilled."Keeling and his family attended a hearing before a special athletic council today.
He will have to reapply for an exemption every year if he wants to continue playing on the girls' team.
