Morgan Tuck scored 25 points and Kiah Stokes had 18 rebounds to help the third-ranked Connecticut women's basketball team beat host No. 2 Notre Dame, 76-58, in the Jimmy V Classic yesterday.

Josh Gasser scored 12 points on four three-pointers and 7-footer Frank Kaminsky had 15 points and 10 rebounds in host No. 2 Wisconsin's 49-38 victory over Marquette in men's basketball . . . T.J. McConnell scored six of his 12 points in overtime as host No. 3 Arizona held on for a 66-63 victory over No. 9 Gonzaga . . . Vonn finally wins

Lindsey Vonn finally overcame her surgically repaired right knee by winning a World Cup downhill race at Lake Louise in Alberta. It was her first win in nearly two years.

Golden State keeps rolling

Draymond Green scored 31 points as Golden State beat host Chicago, 112-102, to set a franchise record with its 12th straight victory. The Warriors extended their league-best record to 17-2 . . . Tim Duncan had 13 points and 10 rebounds as host San Antonio rolled to a 123-101 victory over Minnesota . . . Hollis Thompson's three-pointer in the final seconds sent the game to overtime, and Philadelphia outlasted host Detroit, 108-101, in a matchup of teams with the NBA's two worst records. Detroit (3-17) dropped its 11th straight and now leads the 76ers (2-18) by only a game.
