Nick Young (29 points) hit a three-pointer with 7.4 seconds left in overtime last night as the Lakers beat host San Antonio, 112-110. Kobe Bryant had 22 points and is eight behind Michael Jordan for third place in career scoring. Tim Duncan had 19 points and 18 rebounds for the Spurs . . . Host New Orleans beat Cleveland, 119-114, despite LeBron James' 41 points. Tyreke Evans had 31 points and Ryan Anderson added 30 for the Pelicans, who lost Anthony Davis in the first quarter after an elbow to the chest . . . Russell Westbrook scored 34 points as Oklahoma City beat host Minnesota, 111-92 . . . Derrick Rose (31 points) led host Chicago to a 115-106 win over Portland, which received 35 points each from LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard . . . Mike Conley scored six of his 19 points in the second overtime as host Memphis beat Charlotte, 113-107 . . . Dwyane Wade scored 29 points to help Miami beat host Utah, 100-95.

More charges for Sharper

Federal and state grand juries in New Orleans added new sexual assault and drug charges to the multi-state criminal counts faced by former Saints safety Darren Sharper. Sharper, 39, was indicted by a grand jury on two state counts of aggravated rape stemming from accusations that he sexually assaulted two drug-impaired women at his apartment in September 2013. He also was charged with the rape of another woman in August 2013.

Kentucky player hurts knee

Kentucky starting forward Alex Poythress will miss the rest of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in practice Thursday. Recovery typically takes six to eight months. He averaged 5.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in 20 minutes . . . Tyreek Hill's 92-yard punt return for a touchdown made him the hero of Oklahoma State's win over Oklahoma last Saturday. Yesterday he was dismissed from the football and track teams after he was charged with punching and choking his pregnant girlfriend. Hill did not enter a plea and is due in court Jan. 13.-- AP
