St. Anthony's wins; St. Mary's loses
St. Anthony's defeated Moore Catholic, 51-39, in a CHSAA Class A state semifinal this afternoon at St. Dominic. Rebecca Musgrove scored 15 points in the win. St. Mary's lost to Buffalo Sacred Heart in the other semifinal, 51-48. Shannon Flynn scored 25 points for the Gaels.
St. Anthony's will play Buffalo Sacred Heart in the final tomorrow 3 p.m. at Cardinal Spellman in the Bronx. The winner goes to the Federation championships in Glens Falls.
