'80s GREATS You remember the movies. So does VH1 Classic, which lines 'em up Saturday -- "The Breakfast Club" (1:30 p.m.), "Pretty in Pink" (4 p.m.) and "Sleepless in Seattle" (6 p.m.). And VH1, which lines 'em up Sunday -- "Pretty in Pink" (8 a.m. and 3 a.m.), "Dirty Dancing" (10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.), "Ghostbusters" (12:30 and 10 p.m.) and "Ghostbusters II" (3 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.). SEX STUFF Send the kids to bed before these shows. This new series' title seems self-explanatory: "Sex Sent Me to the ER" (Saturday night at 10, TLC). There's also the half-hour special "Sex//Now" (Thursday at 11 p.m., HBO), exploring how people are making money in the online sex industry. "ER" preview at tlc.com/tv-shows

THINK BIG THOUGHTS So, the news release calls Saturday night's two-hour special "The Big History of Everything" (10 p.m.-midnight, H2) "an epic journey through time and space. It pulls all that we know about science and history into one grand narrative of the universe and humanity, and uncovers the mysterious link between eight critical thresholds on the path from the Big Bang to modern civilization." MOVIE MEMORIAM Stars who passed away in 2013 are honored in film-screening tributes on Turner Classic Movies -- Sunday's Joan Fontaine (6:30 a.m.-8 p.m.) and Peter O'Toole (8 p.m.-6 a.m.), followed Monday night by Deanna Durbin (8 p.m.), Annette Funicello (9:45 p.m.), Peter Falk (11:30 p.m.), Rod Steiger (1:15 a.m.), Karen Black (3:30 a.m.), and Julie Harris (Tuesday 5:15 a.m., all on TCM). Also launching: January's weekly TCM salutes -- Joan Crawford as star of the month, with her 1920s silent/sound starters like the Lon Chaney creep-out "The Unknown" (Thursday 8 p.m.-Friday 8 p.m.) and a new Friday Night Spotlight on science in the movies, led by 1943's "Madame Curie" and 2001's "A Beautiful Mind" (Friday at 8 and 10:15 p.m., TCM). MARATHONS Tom Selleck aces the brooding investigator in TV movies as "Jesse Stone" (Sunday 9 a.m.-Monday 5 a.m., Hallmark Movie Channel). If you're among the mourners, catch an extended run of ABC's canceled-too-soon comedy "Happy Endings" (Tuesday at 8 p.m.-Wednesday night 12:30 a.m., VH1).
