Hundreds of Long Island parents say they've been denied a chance to air their concerns over the state's new Common Core curriculum.

State Education Commissioner John King canceled a town hall-style meeting planned for Tuesday in Garden City.

YouTube video shows a room full of parents screaming at King at a similar meeting last Thursday in Poughkeepsie.

King says he canceled the meeting because "special interests" disrupted meaningful dialogue. A spokesman for King won't specify what he means by "special interests."
