Representatives from the state Department of Financial Services will be in Suffolk and Nassau this week to help homeowners, renters and business owners with insurance-related issues stemming from superstorm Sandy.

The department’s mobile command center will be stationed at these locations:

Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Waldbaum’s Plaza parking lot, 85 East Park Ave., Long Beach.

Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Brach’s Five Towns, 11 Lawrence Lane, Lawrence.

Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Lindenhurst Library, 1 Lee Ave., Lindenhurst.

Citizens unable to go to these locations can call the agency’s storm hotline — 800-339-1759 — from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
