Steve Kerr's agent Mike Tannenbaum, the former Jets general manager, said yesterday on ESPN Radio's "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" that his client has yet to decide on his next move.

"He's weighing all of his options right now," Tannenbaum said of Kerr, who is being courted by both the Knicks and Warriors to fill their head coaching vacancies. "Obviously he has a very close relationship with Phil Jackson, thinks the world of him. And we'll see where the next couple of days go."

Will Kerr's relationship with Jackson be enough to bring him to the Big Apple?

ESPN reported yesterday that the Warriors are back in the running to land Kerr after news broke that one of their other potential coaching options, Stan Van Gundy, was very close to accepting a position with the Pistons as both head coach and president of basketball operations.

It has also been widely speculated that Kerr fears the rest of Knicks upper management outside of Jackson. He has heard the stories about how Hall of Fame coaches such as Lenny Wilkens and Larry Brown were treated, and this could be a potential roadblock in negotiations.
