The Counter Twisted Investigation is trying to stop the spread of horrible creatures called the Twisted, which tend to pulp people into a bloody mist and pretty much destroyed Manhattan. The CTI has created a machine that allows you to travel into the past in the hope that you can destroy the Twisted's enormous construction, the Babel, and perhaps make other changes to the past through your actions there. -- McClatchy Newspapers
