Southampton Town

Last Call: The Southampton Town Board will have its final meeting of the year today at 9:45 a.m. at Town Hall (116 Hampton Rd.). Among several public hearings scheduled is one on whether to accept or amend Suffolk County’s “fast track” initiative for installation of solar panels. Nassau County

Bus Vote: The Nassau County Interim Finance Authority will meet today at 4 p.m. at the Nassau County Bar Association (15th and West streets, Mineola). NIFA is expected to take a vote on the county’s proposed bus contract with Veolia Transportation. Look for Robert Brodsky’s updates on newsday.com.
