Weekend Commencements II: SUNY Old Westbury, New York Institute of Technology, Suffolk County Community College and Hofstra University hold commencement exercises Sunday. Old Westbury’s ceremony begins at 9 a.m. at Meadow Terrace on campus. NYIT starts at 9:30 a.m., also on campus. Suffolk County CC commencement begins at 11 a.m. in the Field House on its Brentwood campus, and Hofstra holds its ceremony at 3:30 p.m. in Shuart Stadium. Check staff updates at newsday.com.
