Pumpkins splat: The 4th Annual Cradle of Aviation Pumpkin Drop will take place Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. at the Cradle of Aviation Museum (399 Charles Lindbergh Blvd.). Participants can bring their own pumpkins, or use one from the museum, drop them off the third floor balcony and watch them splat on the atrium floor. Museum staff spreads the smashed pulp in the field behind the museum for next year’s pumpkin patch. The event is free with museum admission.
