Fill It Up: Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy will sign legislation today to establish compressed natural gas facilities at two county maintenance yards. The 11 a.m. event is at the Department of Public Works Commack maintenance yard, 97 Crooked Hill Rd., where one of the facilities is to be constructed. North Babylon

Campaign Begins: Babylon Town Supervisor Steve Bellone formally announces his candidacy for Suffolk County executive at 10 a.m. today. Bellone, a Democrat, will make the announcement at the North Babylon Fire Stations 1 and 4, both at 20 Hale Rd. Look for Rick Brand’s campaign updates at newsday.com.

Smithtown

Board Meeting: The Smithtown Town Board meets tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Senior Citizen Center on Middle Country Road. The agenda has not yet been posted, but Carl MacGowan will follow the discussions with Twitter updates @CarlMacGowan.
