Garden City

Village Board: Garden City’s village board will meet today at 8 p.m. in Village Hall (351 Stewart Ave.). At the last meeting, two local groups presented an $8.2-million restoration plan for the historic St. Paul’s School and asked village officials to hold a public referendum so voters could decide whether to fund the plan. Farmingdale

SAT Hearings: State Sen. Kenneth P. LaValle’s Higher Education Committee will hold hearings Tuesday at 10 a.m. into alleged cheating on the Scholastic Aptitude Test. The hearing will take place at Farmingdale State College in the Little Theater in Roosevelt Hall. Check staff updates at newsday.com.
