Store expansion: The Town of Smithtown planning board meets at 8 p.m. at the Smithtown Senior Center (420 Middle Country Rd.). Runway run: The Town of Islip will announce its second annual Long Island MacArthur Airport 5k Run for Veterans at a news conference at 11 a.m. at the airport in Ronkonkoma.
