Campus Commencement: Stony Brook University will award 6,402 degrees to the class of 2011 during commencement exercises  at 11 a.m. Wednesday in LaValle Stadium on campus. Of that total, 3,898 will be bachelor’s degrees. Daniel Dexter, of Medford, the senior class representative, will present the senior class gift  -- 471 pledges totaling a $13,400 donation to Stony Brook Long Island Children’s Hospital. Zoning Hearings: Northport Village’s board of zoning appeals meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 224 Main St. On the agenda is a series of public hearings, including one on a request by Britannia Yachting Center to amend existing restrictive covenants.
