Peddler Proposal: The Islip Town board will meet at 2 p.m. at Town Hall (655 Main St.). On the agenda is a public hearing on a proposed ordinance that would allow stationary roadside peddlers to operate within the town. Stewart Manor
Project Permits: The board of trustees will meet at 8 p.m. in Village Hall (120 Covert Ave.) and will hold a public hearing on a change to Section 158 of the Village Code. The current law requires any construction project of more than 1,000 square feet to file for a stormwater permit, but the village is considering changing that to the state’s recommendation of projects bigger than one acre.
