SAT hearings: State Sen. Kenneth P. LaValle’s Higher Education Committee will hold hearings at 10 a.m. into alleged cheating on the Scholastic Aptitude Test. Board meets: The Islip Town Board meets at 2 p.m. at Town Hall (655 Main St.).
