Parks Advisers: The Islip town board will meet at 2 p.m. at Town Hall where the members are to vote on creating a Citizens Advisory Committee on the Central Islip Parks Fund, a group of citizens and town officials that would recommend how to spend nearly $1.5 million on parks there. Glen Cove

Ferry Funds: Glen Cove City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. It is scheduled to accept a $995,000 state grant toward construction of the ferry terminal on Glen Cove Creek. Main Matters: There are nine public hearings on the agenda of the Southampton town board, which meets at 1 p.m. at Town Hall.
