Islip Town
Budget vote: The Islip Town board meets at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall (655 Main St., Islip). The board is scheduled to vote on the 2012 proposed budget, a $121-million spending plan that freezes taxes. Check Yamiche Alcindor’s Twitter updates @Yamiche.
Southampton Town
Budget talk: The Southampton Town Board will hold a special meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Town Hall (116 Hampton Rd.) to continue a public hearing on the 2012 preliminary budget. Riverhead Town
Budget vote: The Riverhead Town Board is expected to vote on adopting Supervisor Sean Walter’s proposed $51.6-million budget when it meets at 7 p.m. in Town Hall (200 Howell Ave.).
