New supervisor: Suffolk County Democratic chairman Richard Schaffer likely will be appointed interim town supervisor during today’s 3:30 p.m. town board meeting at Town Hall (200 E. Holding hearings: The Northport Village trustees will meet today at 6 p.m. at Village Hall (224 Main St.).
