Glen Cove

Swim Meet: The annual Sound to the Cove Swim features three different competitions of 1 mile, 5K and 10K distances in Long Island Sound. The event, part of Swim Across America, raises money to fight cancer. It will be held tomorrow at Morgan Memorial Park. Look for Ali Eaves’ coverage at newsday.com.

Huntington Town

Lighthouse Day: The Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society on Sunday will offer its National Lighthouse Day tours that were rained out last weekend. Tours of the Huntington Lighthouse will depart Gold Star Batallion Beach every 45 minutes from 11 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. Follow Candice Ruud’s updates at newsday.com.
