Rental Request: The Islip Town Board will hold a public hearing tonight at 7:30 at Town Hall (655 Main St.) in which it will consider a request for a deed modification that would allow a developer to include 100 rental units in a 284-unit development in Central Islip. LIPA Decisions: The Long Island Power Authority trustees will meet tomorrow at 11 a.m. at LIPA headquarters (333 Earle Ovington Blvd., Uniondale) to vote on the awarding of the contract to manage the local grid and on its 2012 budget with a 1.5 percent rate increase.
