Amityville Village’s Office of Emergency Management and the Amityville Police Department will present a seminar on hurricane preparedness for the upcoming storm season tonight at 7 p.m.

Guest speakers include Charles Flagg, professor of marine and atmospheric science at Stony Brook University, and Brian Zitani, waterways management supervisor for the Town of Babylon.

The seminar will be held at Amityville High School, 250 Merrick Rd. Hurricane season begins June 1.
