Strange silence at Stony Brook

In an eerie scene that will play out all morning across Long Island, Stony Brook station was simply empty Saturday.
There was a sign mentioning the strike in a waiting room window, but it was partially blocked. Photos from the scene show empty tracks, platforms and a shuttered waiting room.
