From the bus, to the subway, to a scooter
There are commuters, and then there are commuters.
Antonio Merius, a public safety officer at Columbia University, took a Ronkonkoma bus to Jamaica, then readied himself for the F train into Manhattan. From there, he’ll do the last leg of the trip to the university’s Morningside Heights campus — by electric scooter.
"It went smoother than I expected," he said of the bus ride. "It’s graduation week — I have to go in."
