A record 370 rowers--including some area high schoolers--participated in the 13th annual Strong Island Sprints Saturday at St. Anthony's HS.

Competitors hailed from across the tri-state area, including Long Island, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, and New Jersey--making it one of the largest meets in the Northeast.
