Suffolk Class B final live blog: No. 2 Shoreham-Wading River vs. No. 5 Huntington

**FINAL**: Shoreham-Wading River won its eighth county title and first since 2007 with a 13-8 win over Huntington. The Wildcats will play Garden City at 8 p.m. on Saturday back at Stony Brook in the Long Island final.
Drost and Malave each had three goals and one assist, Tom Rotanz scored thre goals and Tim Rotanz had a goal and three assists.
**UPDATE**: At the end of three quarters, SWR has extended its lead to 10-6.
Drost added his third goal on an assist from Tim Rotanz (his third assist) on the man-up to make it 10-5 with 4:26 left in the period. Cutrone answered with his second of the game for Huntington with 17 seconds left to make it 10-6.
SWR had its largest lead at 9-3 after Mike Malave's second goal with 6:02 left in the quarter.
**UPDATE**: At the half, Shoreham-Wading River leads 6-3. Drost leads the Wildcats with two goals and one assist and Tom Rotanz has scored two goals.
SWR scored three straight to open the second quarter and take a 4-1 lead before Nick Saputo scored at the 7:18 mark to make it 4-2.

Back at Stony Brook for the Class B final.
At the end of the first quarter, we're tied at 1. Connor Drost (pictured) put the Wildcats (16-2) up 1-0 with 7:29 left in the period. Twenty two seconds later, Jim Roselli scored on a feed from Jack Cutrone for Huntington (14-4) to tie it at 1.

Quick notes...
-Shoreham-Wading River defeated Huntington 11-10 on May 5. Tim Rotanz scored the winner, his fourth goal, with 1:24 left in the fourth.
-SWR hasn't won a county title since winning seven in a row from 2001-07 (the first two in Class C, second two in Class B, and last three back in Class C).
-Huntington hasn't won a county title since winning three straight Class B crowns from 2005-07.
