Suffolk police looking for a man whom they said used a fake $20 bill at a McDonald's in Centereach on Jan. 8 released photographs of the suspect taken from the restaurant's video surveillance. Credit: SCPD

Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers said Wednesday they are looking for a man who used a counterfeit bill at a fast-food restaurant in Centereach.

At about 9:15 p.m. on Jan. 8, the suspect paid for a food order using a fake $20 bill at a McDonald's at 1724 Middle Country Rd.

Police on Wednesday released photographs of the suspect taken from video surveillance at the restaurant.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
