Suffolk Gymnastics Alignments
Players to Watch photo shoots were today and it felt like the first day back at school at the Newsday offices (even for those of us who never left, ahem).
The video isn't up yet, but once it hits the site, you'll get to see Paris Ryder (Hills), Alyssa Burns (Commack), Tara Greco (Kings Park) and Gabby LoMacchio (Kellenberg) chatting up the new season with our very own Lizzy Nielsen. And no, I didn't forget Olivia O'Connor. She couldn't make it today.
But back to the business at hand. Without further ado, your 2010 Suffolk Girls Gymnastics alignments:
| League I | League II | League III |
| Kings Park | Sachem | East Islip |
| Half Hollow Hills | Patchogue-Medford | North Babylon |
| Commack | Hauppauge | William Floyd |
| West Islip | Ward Melville | Port Jefferson |
| Babylon | Connetquot | Bellport |
| Bay Shore | Lindenhurst | Middle Country |
| Walt Whitman | Harborfields | Copiague |
| Smithtown | Mt. Sinai | Hampton Bays |
Some things of note: Robin Thomas' Kings Park reclaims the one seed, while Jeff Ried and Bay Shore makes the jump to League I.
Note to coaches: I've been trying to contact a few of you for the previews. If you have a chance, please email me at laura.albanese@newsday.com. Just say hi, I'll take care of the rest.
Happy flipping!
