Mom is going to like this one. Sunday is going to be a great day weather-wise on Long Island.
The forecast is for mostly sunshine with a chance of some afternoon clouds and a slight possibility of isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures will be in the mid- to upper-60s, approaching 70 in many spots. Winds will be very light from the north.
It looks like this nice weather will be the trend into the middle of the workweek, with no sign of rain for the immediate future.
