Sun, clouds, possible rain for Thursday
Long Islanders should expect sun and some clouds Thursday, with a very slight chance of some light showers in the afternoon.
Temperatures will be in the low 60s. It will be breezy at times, with northwest winds at 15-20 mph, and gusts could be as high as 30 mph.
But sunshine is in the forecast for Friday, with seasonable conditions and highs in the mid- to upper 60s. The weekend looks OK as of now, with varying amounts of clouds and sun and a slight chance of a shower on Saturday. Sunday will be cloudy with a slight chance of showers.
