Dolly Parton says thanks a million, make that 2 million
Well, hello Dolly! Country music icon Dolly Parton posted an Instagram Reel video on Friday thanking Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their $2 million donation to her Imagination Library, a nonprofit charity that gets books into the hands of underprivileged children.
Thank you @taylorswift13 and @tkelce for the generous gift to @dollyslibrary! ❤️ I wish you both the best, and know that I will always love you. pic.twitter.com/HHxNzYTl7z

"Taylor and Travis, it's Dolly, and I was just told that you two were making a donation of $2 million to my Imagination Library," Parton said in the video. "I'm blown away and overjoyed with that gratitude. Now, it's evident, that you have made giving back a key part of your lives, so hey, when you have you firstborn, can I have it? Because that is gonna be one special baby!"
The power couple announced earlier this week that they would be donating $26 million to several charities including Feeding America, which operates more than 200 food banks across the country.

'Democrats say this is a misuse of taxpayer funds' Nassau Republicans awarded over $1 million in taxpayer-funded legal contracts to the one-man law firm of Sheharyar Ali, a longtime GOP ally. Ali's father is an adviser to Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman. NewsdayTV's Ken Buffa and Newsday Nassau County politics reporter Bahar Ostadan have the story.
