Patricia Takach scored on a direct kick with two seconds left to lift Our Lady of Mercy to a 3-2 win over Archbishop Molloy Wednesday in CHSAA girls soccer.

Meghan Walsh scored with 5:32 left to tie the score at 1 and Claire Miller made 15 saves for OLMA. Courtney Chmil also scored for OLMA.

Kyra Meli scored both goals for Molloy.

Hicksville 2, Plainview JFK 1: Tracy Timcue scored both of her goals on breakaways, the second coming with just under five minutes remaining in the second half to give Hicksville a 2-1 lead in Nassau Conference II.

Clarke 1, Island Trees 1: Eighth-grader Hope Clarke scored her first varsity goal with 18 minutes left in the first half for Clarke in Conference V. Allison Merrill scored with 16 minutes left in the game to tie the score for Island Trees.

Amityville 3, Central Islip 2: Sophomore Sarah Blotiau scored twice, including the winning goal eight minutes into the second half from 25 yards to lead Amityville in non-league.Smithtown East 1, Deer Park 0: After a through pass by Kelly Stumper, Kelly Messina scored off a rebound 11:25 into the first half to lead Smithtown East (2-0) in non-league. Michelle Conrad had five saves in the shutout.Whitman 1, Newfield 0: Alyssa Vallar scored on a direct kick with 14 minutes remaining in the second half to lead Whitman (2-1) in non-league.Sachem North 2, Longwood 0:Erica Magalhaes assisted goals by Rachel LaSala and Andrea Hegarty for Sachem North (1-0) in non-league.FIELD HOCKEY

New Hyde Park 4, Massapequa 2: Michelle Polizzano scored two goals and Brianna Lowey and Lisa O'Callaghan scored once for New Hyde Park in its Conference 1 opener.Cold Spring Harbor 2, Carle Place 0:Maggie Dischmann scored the first of her two goals on a corner with 24:30 left for Cold Spring Harbor in Conference II.Port Washington 3, Oyster Bay 1: Lauren Desimone scored at 7:52 in the second half to give Port Washington a 2-1 lead in Conference II. Olivia Anderson and Katie Gennusa each scored in the win.Bay Shore 4, Comsewogue 3: Killeen Martin scored the winner at 13:36 in the second half off an assist from Erin Corcoran to lead Bay Shore (1-1) in non-league. Martin and Liz Athing each scored two goals and Corcoran and Sarah Fuchs each had two assists.
