We promise not to be hating on the city of Pittsburgh just because its Steelers beat our Jets to advance to Sunday's Super Bowl. Au contraire, today we're going to praise the town by offering up five shows set in or near the burg that brought us Fred Rogers. (And no, we're not doing this because we couldn't find five shows set in Green Bay.)

1. THREE RIVERS (CBS, 2009-10) - Short-lived medical drama set at a Pittsburgh hospital specializing in transplants and starring Alex O'Loughlin, now making waves on "Hawaii Five-0."

2. HOPE & GLORIA (NBC, 1995-96) - In this comedy, Cynthia Stevenson and Jessica Lundy played two single working women who shared a Pittsburgh brownstone.

3. MY SO-CALLED LIFE (ABC, 1994-95) - Acclaimed but short-lived teen drama starring Claire Danes, right, and set in the fictitious Pittsburgh suburb of Three Rivers.

4. MR. BELVEDERE (ABC, 1985-1990) - Christopher Hewett played the title character in this sitcom based on the Clifton Webb movies and set in Beaver Falls, a Pittsburgh suburb (and, of course, the home of Joe Namath). He was a British housekeeper who watched the family's kids when the parents (Bob Uecker, Ilene Graff) were at work.

5. SKAG (NBC, 1980) - When Karl Malden finished walking "The Streets of San Francisco," he migrated cross-country to star in this Pittsburgh-set drama. He starred as Pete Skagska, a steel mill foreman facing health and family issues.
