1. Cold Spring Harbor: With eight ranked players, the two-time defending Long Island Champions are showing why they are poised to win a third.  Cold Spring Harbor (4-0) remained undefeated after going 3-0 this week with 5-2 wins over contenders Syosset and Jericho.  The Sehawks also had an impressive win over Horace Mann as Josh Levine and Eric Ambrosio each won their respective singles matches 6-0, 6-1 to lead the Seahawks over the defending Ivy League Conference Champion and winners of the New York City championship in 2008 and 2009, according to CSH coach Paul Poschmann.     

2. Half Hollow Hills East: East prevailed over West in the battle of the Hills as Alex Schnapp and Eric Bertuglia defeated Mike Covey and Ryan Isaacs 6-3, 6-1 in first doubles.  Hills East remained unbeaten and handed Hills West its first loss of the season.  They also had a 7-0 win over a talented Westhampton team as well as a 7-0 win over Commack, the defending Suffolk champs.

3. Ross: The addition of Richard Sipala has propelled Ross to another level.  Ross is yet to taste defeat since Sipala came aboard and improved to 8-0 with a pair of 7-0 wins over Longwod and East Hampton.   

4. Roslyn: At 5-0, the Bulldogs took over sole possession of first place in Conference IB after Alex Werman beat Dan Grinshteyn in second singles, 6-1, 6-3, to help hand Hewlett its first loss of the season in a pivotal match-up.  Roslyn also had a 4-3 win over Long Beach and a 7-0 win over Wheatley.

 5.  St. Anthony’s: Ian Glessing defeated Andy O'Brien 6-4, 6-3 at first singles to help lead the Friars to a sweep of a home-and-home against Kellenberg with wins of 7-0 and 6-1.  St. Anthony’s sits atop the CHSAA standings with a record of 6-0.
