The Bronx celebrates Puerto Rican pride
The city got a taste of the sights and sounds of next week's Puerto Rican Day parade during the Bronx's celebration Sunday.
About 70,000 revelers showed up at the parade at Grand Concourse and 192nd St., waving Puerto Rican flags and cheering on the various floats and dancers.
The bigger Puerto Rican Day parade is set to take place this Sunday in Manhattan.
