'Glee' to sing more Billy Joel
This season, "Glee" will get in a "New York State of Mind." Following the Fox show's use of "Piano Man," which won Neil Patrick Harris an Emmy last week, Billy Joel tells "Access Hollywood" that he has given the show permission to use music for a future episode. "I was in a chorus when I was in high school," Joel said. "Why not?"
Travolta, Preston expecting a boy
It's a boy! Kelly Preston and John Travolta announced they are having a son, according to People magazine. Earlier this month, the couple celebrated their happy news with about 40 friends at a shower held at their Los Angeles-area home, the magazine reported. The occasion marked another step in the healing process for Preston, 47, and Travolta, 56, whose son Jett suffered a fatal seizure at age 16 in January 2009.
Richards, Jay-Z to speak at library
Keith Richards and Jay-Z will give talks this fall at the New York Public Library. The Rolling Stones guitarist will speak Oct. 29 at the Celeste Bartos auditorium at the library's main branch on Fifth Avenue as part of the promotion for his memoir "Life." Jay-Z will discuss his memoir "Decoded" on Nov. 15. Other guests announced Wednesday probably will attract a more bookish crowd: Nobel laureate Toni Morrison, Pulitzer Prize-winning poet W.S. Merwin and Israeli novelist David Grossman.
