MTV teen show loses 2 more advertisers

"Skins," the controversial MTV teen drama that launched last Monday and was attacked by the Parents Television Council as the "most dangerous show on TV," has lost two more advertisers, reports Newsday's Verne Gay. Schick has pulled out, citing content concerns, while Subway - a charter advertiser on the series - also pulled out of last night's episode. H&R Block, Taco Bell, Wrigley and General Motors have also either pulled ads or requested that ads not run on the show. "Skins" - based on the British series of the same name - was the subject last week of a front-page New York Times story reporting that MTV executives were concerned that minors had been cast in roles that involved partial nudity.
