Snooki hospitalized for alcohol poisoning

"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was hospitalized in May for suspected alcohol poisoning, Newsday contributor Frank Lovece reports. During taping of the show's second season in Miami, she became "so drunk that she had to be carried out of the nightclub Dream by the show's producers," an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com. She was rushed to a hospital and treated. The incident was kept secret, according to the website, which said the show's producers chose not to include it on last week's episode. An MTV spokeswoman declined to comment.

Comic Lopez, wife seeking divorce

Comedian George Lopez and his wife, Ann, are divorcing, TMZ reports. Sources said the pair have been working out details of the split "for a long time," but they've both made the decision to end the marriage. They have been married for 17 years and have a 15-year-old daughter.

Conan bandleader not joining new show

Conan O'Brien's longtime bandleader Max Weinberg won't be joining him on "Conan," his new late-night program set to debut in November, The Associated Press reports. Weinberg had been O'Brien's musical sidekick for 17 years, on both "Late Night" and the "Tonight Show."

Stress, fatigue lands Wyclef in hospital

A representative for hip-hop singer Wyclef Jean says he checked into a hospital over the weekend, according to the AP. His representative Marian Salzman says he's "suffering from stress and fatigue based on the grueling eight weeks he's had." Jean announced a bid for Haiti's presidency in August but ended it last week.
