Becky Conto, Sacred Heart She totaled 11 goals and three assists as the Spartans swept Florida's three best teams last week. Conto also scored the tying goal with two seconds left in regulation of Sacred Heart's eventual 15-14 win over Vero Beach. Julia LoRusso, St. Dominic The sophomore had four goals and a career-high seven assists in a 22-15 win over Sewanhaka on Tuesday. Olivia Kirk, Farmingdale The sophomore made 10 saves in her first varsity career start as Farmingdale topped Penfield, 17-4, last Monday. The Dalers held the Patriots scoreless until 8:43 left in the first half and it was 11-1 at halftime. Kaitlin Gaghan, Farmingdale This one's a group award. The Dalers defense, led by Gaghan, shut down Penfield's attack and held leading scorer Eileen Connal to one goal. (Also worth mentioning is Farmingdale's offense, which included an 8-goal performance from Kim Kolodny, but we wanna avoid too many selections from one game). Michaela Lynch, South Side She racked up nine goals and nine assists in South Side's two wins last week, and has helped lead them to a 5-2 start.
