Texting or talking on a cellphone while driving. You see it done all the time, or perhaps you're even guilty of doing it yourself.

Suffolk County police know distracted driving is prevalant, which is why they recently cracked down on violators. Between July 31 and Aug. 6, police wrote 1,109 tickets for cellphone-related violations and more than 1,600 tickets for other violations.
