Once again from Corey McLaughlin, who seems to be getting all the perfect game phone calls in the office this week....

Kings Park 10, Sayville 0: Junior righthander Lindsay Taylor threw a perfect game with 11 strikeouts for Kings Park (7-1) in a Suffolk League V/VI crossover game. It's Taylor's second perfect game this season and she has five shutouts. "She wasn't close to any full counts," Kings Park coach Kim McGinley said. "Her rise was working big time and her changeup, too." Megan McGinley went 4-for-4 for Kings Park. Sayville is 2-4 in league play. "This is her fourth year on varsity," Kim McGinley said of Taylor. "She's pitched consistently like this for the past three years."

Like I said earlier, Class A could be a more compelling playoff race than Class AA. Hauppauge, ESM and Kings Park are all dominant and there are several other good teams out there too.
