They coulda been contenders: Taylor's exes
Taylor Swift has had many high-profile relationships since 2008 before she met The One. Here’s a quick look back:
Joe Jonas, July-October 2008: Swift was famously upset because Jonas broke up with her in a phone call. She referenced it several years later during her opening monologue on "Saturday Night Live."
Lucas Till, March-April 2009: A brief fling with the guy who costarred in Swift’s “You Belong to Me Video.”
Taylor Lautner, fall 2009: The tabs loved this short-lived relationship, calling it “Taylor Squared” or “Tay Tay”
John Mayer, December 2009-February 2010: Swift wrote “Dear John” about the relationship. Mayer was not pleased.
Jake Gyllenhaal, October 2010-January 2011: An Us Magazine cover screamed “Jake & Taylor in Love!” That got old quickly.
Connor Kennedy, July-October 2012: She could have been a Kennedy, but the coupling with RFK Jr.’s son was short-lived.
Harry Styles, November 2012-February 2013: The question we all want to know: Will Harry come to the wedding?
Calvin Harris, February 2015-May 2016: Although the relationship with the EDM musician was the longest-lived to date, the breakup was icky when Harris accused Swift of cheating.
Tom Hiddleston, May 2016-September 2016: Sources said the couple broke up because Swift was concerned that the actor wasn’t with her for the right reason.
Joe Alwyn, May 2017-April 2023: Nearly six years! A record.
Matty Healy, May-June 2023: Right before she met Kelce, Swift had one last fling, with the frontman of The 1975.
