Favre leads Packers in pounding of Giants

Then-Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre became the second-fastest QB to 200 career touchdown passes and 25,000 yards, as the Packers pounded the Giants, 37-3, at the Meadowlands. Favre, second only to Dan Marino in reaching the two historic passing marks quickest, completed 21 of 33 passes for 267 yards and two touchdowns. The three-time All-Pro, now with Minnesota, has more than 500 TD passes and 71,000 career yards.
