Yankees rally to even Series

The Yankees trailed the Atlanta Braves, 6-0, after five innings in Atlanta and 2-1 in the World Series. The Yankees would rally for an 8-6 win and turn the Series around by scoring three times in the sixth and then Jim Leyritz tied it with a three-run homer in the eighth. They won it in the 10th inning as Wade Boggs walked with the bases loaded and Charlie Hayes reached on an error by Ryan Klesko. The Yankees had lost the first two games then won four straight games, John Wetteland saving all four, to earn the World Series Most Valuable Player award.
