Giants open Cowboys Stadium with win

The Giants sent the largest NFL regular season crowd of 105,121 home unhappy and spoiled the grand opening of Jerry Jones' $1.15 billion Texas Stadium by defeating Dallas, 33-30. After Felix Jones' 7-yard touchdown run gave the Cowboys a 31-30 lead with 3:40 remaining, Eli Manning orchestrated a seven-play, 71-yard drive to set up Lawrence Tynes 37-yard field goal as time expired. Tynes was forced to hit the field goal not once but twice after his first was nullified by a Cowboy timeout. Manning completed 25-of-38 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns. His counterpart Tony Romo finished with just 127 yards on 13-for-29 passing with one touchdown and three interceptions in front of the home crowd. Mario Manningham caught 10 passes for 150 yards and a touchdown and Steve Smith added 10 receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown.
