Rangers' 24-game home streak snapped

The Rangers lost, 4-2, to the Chicago Blackhawks at the Garden, their first home loss of the season, ending a team-record 24-game home unbeaten streak.

The streak included five ties and the loss dropped them to 30-11-10, eight points behind the Bruins for first place. The Rangers finished the season 49-18-11 (second place) and lost in the conference semifinals to the Blackhawks.
